About
I’m Andy…
Welcome to ADHDlife! I'm thrilled to introduce myself and share a bit about my approach.
At the core of ADHDlife is the belief that ADHD is not a disorder, but a different way of experiencing the world. I therefore don’t view ADHD as something that needs to be “fixed.” Instead, I focus on helping you understand your unique brain wiring, celebrate your strengths, and navigate the challenges in a way that works for you.
ADHDlife aims to fill the gap in NHS provision by providing non-pharmacological specialist ADHD support from a registered mental health professional, as well as addressing the lack of specialist mental health experience in the ADHD coaching field.
Person centred
I believe in the power of self-awareness and self-compassion. By understanding your ADHD and how it affects you, you can begin to develop a toolkit of strategies that are tailored to your needs. Whether it's finding new ways to address imposter syndrome & rejection sensitivity, managing emotional regulation difficulties, staying organized, learning how to harness your hyperfocus, developing a better work-life balance, or developing sensory strategies (the list goes on….), ADHDlife is here to support you every step of the way.
NHS Mental health therapy experience
With over six years of experience providing one-on-one therapy to individuals with ADHD in various mental health settings, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients through a wide range of challenges. My work has focused on creating psychologically informed interventions tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Maintaining professional & ethical standards
As an Occupational Therapist, I am HCPC accredited and a proud member of the RCOT, ensuring that my practice is grounded in professional and ethical standards. Integrating OT with ADHD coaching brings a holistic perspective, understanding how ADHD affects every aspect of daily life and how we can work together to create meaningful changes. I undergo regular supervision to maintain my accreditation.
ADHD coaching diploma
In addition to my hands-on experience, I hold an accredited ADHD coaching diploma.
